On 14 March 2019, FAN and grid operator Stedin hosted WattsLocal, a meeting for parties from the energy sector. These meetings specifically address the use of flexibility. This particular session focused on Local Energy Communities. The most important question this afternoon was how communities/partnerships can contribute to an open and flexible energy system.
The attendees listened to inspiring presentations and participated in workshops led by innovators and energy experts. The topics covered were best practices, open standards, transactive energy and especially how to build communities.
