Ørsted is happy to join FAN to work together with all FAN participants to unlock flexibility so that sustainable energy can be properly and easily integrated into the Dutch energy system and the development of open standards with the aim to accelerate integration. Furthermore, Ørsted wants to contribute to the development of knowledge in relation to the 'innovation hub', as recently announced in a collaboration with Rockstart.
Ørsted is the market leader in offshore wind energy and among other things, owner of the largest Dutch wind farm in operation (Borssele 1&2). Ørsted develops various flexibility solutions in the Netherlands, including electrolysis and (long duration) electricity storage.
